Financing Laser Hair Removal in Miami: The Real Math

November 6, 2026·6 min read

Yes, we offer financing — through Affirm and Klarna, same as most clinics in this city. You can also just use a Visa or Mastercard. But the question we actually want to answer isn’t whether financing exists. It’s what it’s for. Financing isn’t a way to afford something you shouldn’t be doing. It’s a way to spread out a known, fixed total for the real device and an assessed plan, instead of paying the whole thing upfront. We don’t run “join our unlimited plan for $8,000” offers, and we don’t upsell you into a bigger package than your skin needs. The price you’re financing is the price for the area, the device, and the number of sessions we actually think you need — nothing padded on top of it.

Why a $19 session doesn’t need financing — and what that should tell you

You’ve seen the ads. Clinics in Miami offering laser hair removal at $19 a session, or “unlimited packages” for a few hundred dollars total. Nobody needs to finance a $19 session. That’s the point, and it’s also the tell. A $19 laser session with no discussion of your skin type tells you what machine they’re running — almost certainly something older, single-wavelength, and not built to handle every skin tone safely.

We use the Candela GentleMax Pro, a dual-wavelength system pairing a 755nm Alexandrite laser with a 1064nm Nd:YAG laser, specifically because that combination treats Fitzpatrick I through VI — from very fair to very dark skin — without guessing. Before your first session, you get a free consultation and a real Fitzpatrick assessment. That assessment is what determines your plan and your price. It’s also exactly the step a $19-a-session ad skips, because stopping to assess skin type slows down a volume business. Financing a real plan with a real device costs more upfront than a $19 teaser rate. It also actually works the way it’s supposed to.

The actual math on laser hair removal

Here’s the actual math, using our posted prices. A 6-session package for a medium area — bikini line, lower legs, half arms — runs $499. A 6-session package for a large area — full legs, full arms, brazilian, full back — runs $599. Compare that to paying per session with no plan: underarms, bikini line, belly, or forehead run $189 a session; full face, brazilian, chest, half back, full stomach, buttocks, or lower legs run $249 a session. Six sessions of a $249 area paid one at a time is $1,494. The package price for a comparable large area is $599. That’s not a small difference — that’s the entire reason packages exist.

Most areas need 6–8 sessions spaced 4–8 weeks apart to get real results; face and bikini areas sometimes need 8–10. That’s a treatment course that runs anywhere from six months to the better part of a year. Financing through Affirm or Klarna lets you spread a known total — say, $599 for a large-area package — across that same stretch of time instead of paying it all on day one. What the actual monthly payment looks like, and what rate applies, is between you and whichever platform you choose. Affirm and Klarna set their own terms. We don’t quote those numbers because they aren’t ours to quote — but the total you’re financing is fixed and posted, which is more than most clinics in this city will tell you before you walk in.

The same math for tattoo removal

Tattoo removal works the same way, and it’s worth running the numbers the same honest way. Per-session pricing: extra small (under 1”x1”) is $199, small (palm-sized) is $249, medium (hand-sized) is $299, large is $399, half sleeve is $499, full sleeve is $649. Permanent makeup removal — microblading, lip blush, eyeliner, brow tattoos — runs $399 per session.

We use the Candela PicoWay, a picosecond laser with three wavelengths covering blues, greens, and pastels along with standard black and dark ink, and it’s safe across Fitzpatrick I–VI. Most tattoos need 5–12 sessions spaced 6–8 weeks apart, so a medium tattoo at $299 a session could run anywhere from roughly $1,495 to $3,588 depending on the ink, its age, and your skin. That’s a wide range, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise — results vary by ink color, ink age, and skin tone, and we don’t promise complete removal before we’ve seen the piece. What financing does here is let you commit to the plan without needing the full total in hand on day one, paying it down across the same months the sessions are already spread over.

Financing isn’t just a hair-removal thing

Financing through Affirm and Klarna applies across the full range of what we do — not just laser hair removal and tattoo removal. If you’re dealing with melasma or pigmentation, the PicoWay protocol typically runs 3–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart, plus maintenance every 6–12 months, because melasma is a condition you manage, not one you cure in a single course of treatment. Dermal fillers are a different category entirely — Florida law requires filler to be injected by a licensed medical professional, and that procedure is priced and planned individually rather than as a flat package. Laser skin tightening and resurfacing — HELIX CO2, Clear + Brilliant, Laser Genesis, Cynosure Elite Plus, Fractional CO2 — follows the same logic as everything else here: a real plan, a real total, financed if you want it spread out.

Nobody gets a financing quote before we’ve looked at your skin

We can’t give you a financing number over the phone, and we won’t pretend to. Candidacy and final package pricing get determined at the in-person consultation, after the Fitzpatrick assessment, because the plan depends on what we actually see — your skin tone, your hair density, your ink, your pigmentation pattern. Filler clients get a two-week follow-up check-in built into the process for the same reason: results need to be looked at, not assumed. If a treatment isn’t worth doing — if your skin, your tattoo, or your melasma pattern means a particular approach won’t give you a real result — we’ll tell you that upfront instead of taking your money and letting financing make a bad decision feel smaller.

What we won’t do — and what we can’t tell you

We won’t invent a financing rate to make a sale sound better than it is. Affirm and Klarna set their own terms, and those terms are between you and them, not us. We won’t push you toward a bigger package than you need, and we don’t run “unlimited” plans designed to make the sticker price look smaller than the real commitment. Every clinic in this city will tell you they use the latest laser. What actually matters is the specific device, its wavelengths, and whether someone assessed your skin before quoting you a number — financed or not. The consultation happens first. The financing decision happens after.
