Laser Wrinkle Removal

Achieve flawless, smooth skin

Laser skin resurfacing will work best on minor wrinkles such as crow’s feet, frown lines and small creases in your face. It will even work well on skin that has sun damaged and scars from chickenpox and acne scars. The surgery will resurface your face – removing the top layer of damaged skin and allowing the new fresh younger looking skin to emerge. This will create the production of collagen and may take several sessions to complete the process. This surgery isn’t permanent and you may have to have more treatments as you age.

Laser wrinkle removal is also referred to as laser resurfacing or laser peel. The laser removes the wrinkled skin layer by layer. The laser is able to target the areas precisely. It is very common for clients to combine some laser wrinkle removal with other cosmetic procedures such as a face lift.

Wrinkle Removal Risks

There are risks some may be burns, inflammation, scarring and infection. The newer lasers are being designed to be even safer than previous lasers reducing these risks as technology advances.

After laser surgery you may have to stay out of the sun for several months so that it doesn’t damage your skin after the procedure. Your skin may look like it has a bad sunburn and may take several weeks or months to completely heal.

The improvements on your skin may be seen shortly after surgery and in the months after you have it done. It can last for years and then as you age the wrinkles will come back, but this is a good option for quick reduction of facial wrinkles. Laser wrinkle removal may not be for everyone but it has worked well for many.
